Project Overview

Background

Many pedagogical studies mention that building a robust vocabulary in early childhood is directly connected to overall success at school and beyond.

The size of a child’s vocabulary between preschool and primary school is the foundation of their communication skills.

Problems

Many first-time parents lack the experience and time.

They may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or insecure about the ways to grow children’s vocabularies.

Kids may have limited exposure to words.

Kids may struggle to fully understand the meaning of a word.

Objective

To help these first-time parents release their anxiety about educating their children to learn words;

meanwhile, children at 5-10 years old are able to expand their vocabularies in a fun and effective way.

With KIRI, learners will be able to expand their vocabularies in oral language and cognition and explain the meaning of words through reading.
